I recently chqanged my motor to one with a gas tank fitted in the spare wheel area.
So do I need to carry a spare wheel?
Well during MOT a the spare wheel is nolonger checked. Look half way down the page.

Their condition, security, size, type and tread depth. Spare tyres are not inspected.
