Post subject: Do you need a spare wheel in your boot of your motor in the UK.
I recently chqanged my motor to one with a gas tank fitted in the spare wheel area.
So do I need to carry a spare wheel?
Well during MOT a the spare wheel is nolonger checked. Look half way down the page.

The tyres and wheels

Their condition, security, size, type and tread depth. Spare tyres are not inspected.

And all the new Mini's run on run flats.

And my new Renault Scenic has a Tyre weild kit.
